Driving Info:
FROM THE BRUCE HIGHWAY
Self Drive guests should follow the Bruce Highway north if travelling from Brisbane, or south if travelling from Cairns, and find Airlie Beach by taking the turn off at the town of Proserpine, following the signs to the Whitsundays.
FROM THE MAIN STREET, AIRLIE BEACH
As you drive into Airlie Beach's main street, continue straight ahead through the first roundabout at the far end of the main street. At the second roundabout, turn Right into 'Hermitage Drive'. Turn Left into the Blue Horizon Resort driveway to reception.

Ongoing Contstruction:
- Airlie Beach Marina is currently undergoing extensive construction making way for the new Port of Airle. The project is expected to take between 4 and 6 years to complete. While the noisy works are quite some distance away, it is only background noise that can be heard on occasions. The construction is happening opposite Blue Horizons however the view of the Whitsunday passage is still highly visible.
