Daydream Island Resort and Spa is situated in the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park and is the perfect island resort for families and couples.
Daydream Island Resort and Spa is the ideal playground for all kinds of water sports. Windsurfing, paddle skiing, catamaran sailing, water skiing, jetskiing, paraflying and snorkelling are all popular and this resort is a wonderful base from which to explore the Great Barrier Reef. Or, for some land-based fun, play tennis on the floodlit courts, work out in the exercise room or simply laze by one of the three free- form swimming pools or spas.
Your room on Daydream Island is cool, comfortable, modern and spacious. It includes a hairdryer, toiletries, an iron and ironing board, IDD/STD telephone, tea and coffee making facilities and colour television with latest movie releases.
Everyone's appetite and budget will be satisfied on Daydream Island, with three restaurants, Bakery and takeaway meals available.

From Hamilton Island:
- Cruise Whitsundays offers a launch transfer from Hamilton Island Airport to Daydream Island. On arrival at Hamilton Island Airport, please collect luggage and go to the Cruise Whitsundays ticket counter at the airport.
- Helicopter transfers are available with Aviation Tourism Whitsunday.
From Abel Point Marina
- Cruise Whitsundays offers a launch transfer from Abel Point Marina to Daydream Island.
From Whitsunday Coast Airport:
- Whitsunday Shuttle Service offers a coach transfer from Whitsunday Coast Airport to Shute Harbour.

- A credit card imprint or a AUD100.00 cash bond for each night of the stay will be required upon check-in.
School Leavers Conditions valid mid November mid December:
- Bookings will not be accepted where all clients are under 18 years.
Cancellations:
- Daydream Island Resort and Spa will accept no liability in the event of a cancellation due to weather conditions. Guests are advised to take out travell insurance to cover unforseen circumstances.
Hamilton Island Airport Arrivals:
Please make your way to the Sunlover Holidays desk, located at the end of the breezeway, upon arrival at Hamilton Island Airport. Our representative will give you a Welcome Letter with our Call Centre contact number if you need any assistance once your holiday is underway, show you where to collect your luggage and point you in the right direction for your transfer to Hamilton Island Resort or your next destination.
Our Meet and Greet Service is available for all flights into Hamilton Island.

Cancellation Policy:
Valid for 01APR09-31MAR10:
- 1 night cancellation fee will be charged for bookings cancelled 7 days or less prior to travel or in the event of a no show.
Valid for 01APR10-31MAR11:
- 1 night cancellation fee will be charged for bookings cancelled 7 days or less prior to travel or in the event of a no show.
- Cancellation fees may apply for early departures unless 48 hours notice has been given.
Wedding Package valid for 01APR09-31MAR11:
- A non-refundable deposit of AUD750.00 is required 14 days after booking confirmation.
- A fee of 25% of the total package cost will be charged for bookings cancelled 60-31 days prior to travel in addition to the non-refundable deposit.
- A fee of 50% of the total package cost will be charged for bookings cancelled 30-15 days prior to travel in addition to the non-refundable deposit.
- No refund if cancelled 14 days or less prior to travel or in the event of a no-show.
