Green Island Resort lies in Tropical North Queensland. The Resort is only 45 minutes from Cairns by high speed catamaran and is set in the pristine natural beauty of Green Island National Park.
Green Island is surrounded by sandy beaches with crystal clear waters, abundant marine life and coral. A harmonious relationship between reef and rainforest provides one of life's special experiences.
The well-appointed rooms have private balconies and Australian wood interiors. The close proximity to the Great Barrier Reef provides excellent opportunities to explore colourful coral reefs and animal life by snorkelling, diving and glass bottom boat coral viewing.

Transfer Info:
From Cairns:
Great Adventures operates daily transfers between Cairns and Green Island Resort. Travel time is approximately 45 minutes. Clients should check in at the Great Adventures ticket counter in Spence Street, Reef Fleet Terminal, 30 minutes prior to departure.
Launch Transfer Schedule:
From Cairns - 8:30am, 10:30am, 1:00pm daily.
From Green Island - 9:45am, 12:00pm, 2:30pm, 4:30pm daily.
Important Note:
Times are subject to change without notice. Schedules may be affected by weather conditions. Transfers must be reconfirmed 24 hours prior to departure - telephone 1800 079 080. If guests arrive in Cairns prior to 7:00am, they should go to the Reef Fleet Terminal in Spence Street where their luggage will be secured. They are then able to use the private VIP Guest Lounge located upstairs at Reef Fleet Terminal until around 8:15am when they will be meet by a representative of Great Adventures and escorted to the correct vessel for boarding.
Coach Transfers:
Coach transfers can be prebooked with Airport Connections ex Cairns City or Port Douglas to Reef Fleet Terminal at an additional charge and must be booked separately.

Important Information:
Luggage Restrictions:
- A luggage restriction of 23 kilograms now applies to all guests travelling to Green Island. Any luggage that exceeds 23 kilograms, guests will be required to transfer part of their contents to another bag provided by Green Island.
Cancellation Policy:
Valid for 01APR09-31MAR11:
- 50% cancellation fee of the first night will be charged for bookings cancelled 3-7 days prior to travel.
- 1 night cancellation fee will be charged for bookings cancelled 48 hours or less prior to travel or in the event of a no-show.
