Hayman Island is the most northerly island of the Whitsunday group. It lies 28 kilometres from Shute Harbour and about 900 kilometres north of Brisbane.

Hayman is committed to providing a very special holiday experience for young guests and in addition to providing child friendly accommodation, boasts a magical children's activities setting at Hernando's Hideaway, an exquisite colonial cottage nestled in gardens near the marina. This unique site is home to the Kids Club, for children aged 05 to 12 years, and the Creche, for the little ones aged 6 weeks to 5 years. Hernando's Hideaway offers a spacious natural and safe environment, under the supervision of qualified Hayman childcare staff.

Transfer Info:
Hayman operates launch transfers from Hamilton Island Great Barrier Reef Airport and Shute Harbour Airlie Beach. Transfers are provided at an additional cost.
1. From Hamilton Island:
Timetable varies daily from Hamilton Island to/from Hayman Island depending on arrival time of flights to Hamilton Island
Airport. The launch meets any Jetstar/Virgin flights that have Hayman guests on them as long as they have been notified of the clients arrival details. Clients to confirm departure time 24 hours prior to travel.
2. Shute Harbour:
Hayman operates launch transfers on the vessel "Sun Experience" from Shute Harbour. Clients should check in a minimum of 15 minutes prior to departure time. Travel time to Hayman is approximately 60 minutes.

Infant: 0-4 years inclusive - cot/bed/rollaway available, free of charge.
Child: 5-12 years inclusive - child rates apply including breakfast when sharing with an adult.

Please make your way to the Sunlover Holidays desk, located at the end of the breezeway, upon arrival at Hamilton Island Airport. Our representative will give you a Welcome Letter with our Call Centre contact number if you need any assistance once your holiday is underway, show you where to collect your luggage and point you in the right direction for your transfer to Hamilton Island Resort or your next destination.
Our Meet and Greet Service is available for all flights into Hamilton Island.

- A 1 night cancellation fee applies if cancelled 7-14 days prior to travel.
- No refund if cancelled 6 days or less prior to travel or in the case of a no show.
Wedding Packages valid for 01APR09-24DEC09, 25DEC09-30DEC09, 02JAN10-31MAR10:
- A cancellation fee of AUD610.00 applies if cancelled after deposit is paid.
- A cancellation fee of 50% of the package cost if cancelled 31-60 days prior to travel.
- No refund of package and any pre-arranged services if cancelled 30 days or less prior to travel or in the case of a no show.
Launch Transfers valid for 01APR09-21DEC09, 07JAN10-31MAR10:
- A 1 night cancellation fee will be charged on bookings cancelled 8-14 days prior to arrival.
- A 100% cancellation fee will be charged on bookings cancelled 7 days prior to arrival or in the case of a no show. ~~~~
