Driving Info:
Sal Salis is 66km south of Exmouth (2WD) and 136km from Coral Bay (4WD only). From Exmouth head north on Murat Road. Turn left onto Yardie Creek road and then follow the signs into Cape Range National Park. Turn into the South Mandu track and park in the spaces provided and follow the signs to South Mandu Beach. Just before you reach the beach you will see the entrance to Sal Salis.
IMPORTANT:
- Check in is available from 2:00pm.
- You will need to stop at the rangers station to pay $11 for your car to enter the National Park. You do not need to pay the per person park fee as this is included in your room rate and we pay this directly to the National Parks.
- Please advise in advance if your vehicle will be a caravan or if you will have a trailer, as we need to have it registered with the park and the Department of Conservation and Environment.
- Please check your footwear on arrial at South Mandu car park to ensure that they are not bringing any sees into camp and surrounding country.
- Guests are asked not to feed any of the animals in the park, as this goes against all principles of wildlife management in a natural area
- Please take caution driving in dusk hours due to the large amount of wildlife on the road
Transfer Info:
From 1st April 2012 airport transfers can be arranged at an additional cost of $150 return per adult or $75 return per child (5-16 years). Alternatively there are a number of car rental companies based in Exmouth both at the airport and in town.
The drive from Exmouth airport to Sal Salis Ningaloo Reef takes 90 minutes or 60 minutes from town.
Important Information:
Sal Salis Ningaloo Reef is an all inclusive property. The tariff includes accommodation in a wilderness tent with eco friendly en-suite, all meals and beverages (based on a select open bar), use of snorkel equipment and scheduled guided activities. Minimum 2 night stay.
