Construction Update:
- A new building is currently under construction next door to Seashells Serviced Apartments. From now through til March 2010, general construction of the building will commence. Work will be carried out Monday to Friday 7:00am-5:00pm and on Saturdays 7:00am-2:00pm. There is no disruption to guests.
Property Refurbishment:
- As part of the ongoing refurbishment of the property, they will be painting the exterior of both the main building and the Collections building over a 4 month period commencing early April 2010. Interruption to guests will be minimal at this time.
- They have been assured by the contractors that any disruption, (including smell) will be extremely minimal; the only factor guests will need to consider is that there will be scaffolding in some areas around the building which may block the view from their balconies for short periods during the day. These large pieces of equipment will be packed up at night to ensure guest views are not obstructed. All work will be carried out on the exterior of the building and there will be no need for access inside apartments. ~~~~
