Getting There

Air Via Alice Springs Airport (Qantas & Virgin Blue). Flights are available daily from major cities within Australia including Adelaide, Brisbane, Broome, Cairns, Darwin, Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and many Territory destinations such as Ayers Rock.

Self Drive Self drive is a popular option with many visitors following the Pioneers Path along the Stuart Highway from Adelaide or Darwin. Car rental is available through all major car rental companies at Alice Springs Airport or the Town Centre. Pre-book your car hire with Voyages. Alternatively take your own vehicle and design an itinerary to suit your own self drive experience.

Coach Transfers
Coach transfers depart from Ayers Rock Resort and Kings Canyon Resort at approximately 1.30pm daily arriving in Alice Springs at around 7.15pm.

Rail
The Ghan rail journey passes through Alice Springs every Monday (heading north from Adelaide) and Thursday (heading south from Darwin).
