Situated at the northern end of Cradle Mountain - Lake St Clair National Park, Cradle Mountain Chateau includes such facilities as two restaurants, a walk-in wine cellar, open air deck with outdoor seating, lounge bar and billiards room, as well as a gift shop.

All accommodation is ground-floor level. There are standard twin rooms with two double beds; king spa rooms, with king-size beds and bathroom spas; and deluxe split-level suites, with sunken lounge, king-size beds and bathroom spas.

Directions

Drive to Cradle Mountain from Devonport or Launceston along the Bass highway (Highway 1) and take the Railton turnoff. Follow the signs to Sheffield & Cradle Mountain. At Sheffield turn left (sign posted to Cradle Mountain) just before entering the main business area. Follow this road to Moina, turn left at the T-junction and continue on to Cradle Mountain. The road into the National Park is clearly sign posted to the left, and Cradle Mountain Chateau is on this road, approximately 2 km along on the right.

From Strahan & the West Coast, take the signs to Burnie. After passing through the town of Tullah, towards Burnie. Take the turn off to Cradle Mountain. Drive for 20 minutes. The road into the National Park is clearly sign posted to the right, and Cradle Mountain Chateau is on this road, approximately 2 km along on the right.

A fee of 14% of the total cost of your booking applies if cancelled plus the following charges below if applicable.

1 night cancellation fee if cancelled 72 hours or less prior to travel or in the case of a no-show.
