Orpheus Island Resort's 8-seater Cessna Caravan Amphibious Seaplane operates daily transfers between Townsville Airport and Orpheus Island. Services depart Townsville Airport from Departure Gate Lounge 10. Passengers are requested to wait in the departure lounge, with luggage, 30 minutes prior to flight departure times. Travel time from Townsville to Orpheus Island is approximately 30 minutes. Transfers are an additional cost.

From Cairns:
Orpheus Island Resort's 8-seater Cessna Caravan Amphibious Seaplane operates twice weekly transfers between Cairns Airport and Orpheus Island. Services depart the Cairns Barrier Aviation Terminal, General Aviation Section, Cairns Airport. Passengers are requested to wait in the departure lounge, with luggage, 30 minutes prior to flight departure times. Travel time from Cairns to Orpheus Island is approximately 60 minutes. Transfers are an additional cost.

For guest arriving into Cairns on day of travel, the Barrier Aviation Terminal is a short taxi ride from the International
and Domestic terminals. We recommend that international guests travelling via Cairns allow a minimum of two hours between flights. Guests tranferring from a domestic flight need to allow one hour after arrival.
