Voyages Dunk Island was known to the first inhabitants as 'Coonanglebah' - the isle of peace and plenty. Today, the palm-fringed beaches and lush rainforests of this tropical island are ideal for those who want to enjoy time out or the time of their lives.

The resort is located in a National Park, and lies midway between Townsville and Cairns, one of a few tropical islands that puts you within easy reach of the Great Barrier Reef.

With so many amazing activities to choose from on Dunk, it's hard to decide what to do next. Horse-riding along the beach, rainforest walks, catamarans, tandem sky diving, golf, or visiting the Island Farm. For a change of pace, get away from it all to a sun-soaked beach with a gourmet picnic hamper, or indulge yourself at the Spa of Peace and Plenty, with treatments designed to rejuvenate your mind, body and soul.

For a family holiday, there are heaps of things to do together, but when Mum and Dad want some time out, the Kids Club gives 3-12 year olds plenty to do. For couples looking for romance, nothing compares to ending the day with a cocktail in hand, watching the perfect sunset.

Cancellation Policy

A fee of 14% of the total cost of your booking applies if cancelled plus the following charges below if applicable.

Accommodation valid for 01APR08-31MAR10:
- No refund if cancelled 72 hours or less prior to travel or in the event of a no-show.
- If after arrival, clients are dissatisfied with any aspect of their accommodation and decide to terminate their stay, the amount to be refunded, if any, is at the discretion of the property management.

Transfers valid for 01APR08-31MAR10:
- No refund if cancelled 7 days or less prior to travel or in the event of a no-show.

Wedding Package and Ultimate Wedding Package (does not include accommodation) valid for 01APR08-31MAR09:
- A fee of 20% of the total package cost will be charged for bookings cancelled between 60-31 days prior to travel.
- A fee of 50% of the total package cost will be charged for bookings cancelled between 30-15 days prior to travel.
- No refund if cancelled 14 days or less prior to travel or in the event of a no-show.

Wedding Package and Ultimate Wedding Package (does not include accommodation) valid for 01APR09-31MAR10:
- Loss of AUD500.00 deposit if cancelled 91 days prior to travel.
- 75% of package cancellation fee if cancelled 90-31 days prior to travel.
- No refund if cencalled 30 days or less prior to travel.
