Croppa Creek
The blacksoil countryside surrounding the small community of Croppa Creek, 63km north-east of Moree in far north-western NSW, is given over primarily to mixed farming, mainly cotton, wheat, vegetables, sheep and cattle.
It is little more than a half hour drive to the regional "capital", Moree on the Newell Highway. Set on the Mehi River, Moree is justly famous for its artesian spas which attract a constant flow of rheumatic and arthritis sufferers who swear the mineral-rich, heated and health-restoring waters relieve their pain levels and help their mobility.
