Day 1 - The Barossa Wine Tour:
The Barossa Valley is Australia's most internationally acclaimed wine region, highly regarded for producing excellent Shiraz. Featuring premium award winning wines, magnificent stone architecture and boutique wineries, the Barossa Valley is a great getaway destination.
Travel to the world-renowned Barossa Valley, an incredible landscape of vineyards, boasting more than 100 vineyards and some of Australia's finest red wines. Unearth the acoustic secrets of the Whispering Wall and sip on world-class wines at four premium cellar doors. Learn about viticulture on a guided walk through 100-yearold Shiraz vines. Enjoy a Barossa style lunch in the heart of the valley then taste wines at Kaesler winery before visiting the Wolf Blass Visitor Centre for a personalised structured tasting. Pass through the quaint villages of Bethany, Tanunda, Lyndoch and Nuriootpa on your return journey back to Adelaide.
Day 2 - City Highlights Tour:
South Australia's capital city, Adelaide, is a cosmopolitan city with a blend of European and modern architecture, offering a wealth of experiences including great food and wine, arts and culture, and world-class sporting events. This tour is an ideal introduction to see the best of Adelaide and learn more about its history on a friendly and relaxed tour.
In the morning board an Adelaide Sightseeing coach for the City Highlights tour. Travel through the city's wide streets on the way to the Haigh's Chocolate Factory for a tour and tastings of this South Australian chocolate. Visit Montefiore Hill, Colonel Light's Lookout, for some of the best views of Adelaide and the worldfamous Adelaide Oval. Drive past Adelaide's cultural precinct - North Terrace, St Peters Cathedral and Victoria Square, before heading to Glenelg, Adelaide's premier seaside suburb. Take a walk along the jetty, shop along Jetty Road, grab a coffee or check out the local attractions including Holdfast Shores and the BeacHouse. Return to Adelaide for a free afternoon or extend your stay at Glenelg Beach and make your own way back on the Glenelg - Adelaide tram service.
