Itinerary:
At our base, the pilot will give you a brief outline of current weather and the proposed launch site. You might be there in time to see the piball released - a small helium filled balloon with a light attached to it that helps us to determine the upper air winds. Next we drive to our launch site, where the balloon is unpacked and prepared for inflation. If you want, you can help with this. At the launch site it takes around twenty minutes to prepare the balloon for take off, and once the pilot has completed his pre flight checks you are invited to climb into the basket. After a passenger briefing it is time for take off - you will be surprised how gentle and easy it is. After the flight enjoy a gourmet champagne breakfast includes a glass of French champagne, freshly baked muffins and quiche, cereals, toast, fruit, yoghurt, juice, local organic coffee and tea.

Important Information:

- Flights do not operate Christmas Day or New Years Day.

Weather:
- Safety is paramount and we will not fly when it is wet or too windy. Hot air ballooning is a weather dependent activity - we can only fly safely in calm light winds normally about 3 to 10 knots. Any flight may be cancelled due to adverse weather conditions, this is normally done the night before when you phone for confirmation. The weather can outwit even the best meteorologists and an early morning cancellation or even a cancellation on the field is feasible, although this is very rare.We do appreciate that you may be disappointed if your flight is unfortunately cancelled due to adverse weather, but it is done with your safety in mind and the wait for that perfect morning is always worth it.
What to Bring:
- Wear casual layered clothing suitable for a bush environment.
- Skirts and high heels not recommended.
- Enclosed footwear is compulsory.
- Hat, suncreen, sunglasses, warm clothes, camera, video camera and binoculars.
