Sports Lovers Tour plus Fosters Australia Brewery Tour
What a combination - sports and beer! Visit Flemington, home of the Melbourne Cup - the horse race that stops the nation. Drive through the Commonwealth Games Athletes Village and around Albert Park, on the Melbourne Grand Prix Circuit. Choose between Melbourne Cricket Ground or Rod Laver Arena 'behind the scenes' tour options (details below). Enjoy lunch overlooking the Telstra Dome arena. Tour the Fosters Australia Brewery, famous for Fosters and our favourites Victoria Bitter, Carlton Draught, Crown Lager and Pure Blonde. This fascinating tour offers a unique opportunity to experience the past, present and future of beer and brewing in Australia through interactive displays and a guided tour of Australia's largest brewery. And yes, there is an opportunity to sit at the free tasting bar! Souvenir gift included. Please wear flat comfortable shoes. Open toe shoes/sandals are not permitted within brewing production area. Tour Option 1 - Melbourne Cricket Ground
Tour behind the scenes of the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). The MCG is a super stage for Australian sport, stadium for the 1956 Olympics, Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games, International Cricket and Australian Rules Football. Highlights of the tour (all subject to availability) include; The Northern Stand, coaches box, players change rooms (football and cricket), cricket viewing room, the Long Room, Bill Lawry Cricket Centre, The Ponsford Stand - aerial views, and walk on the hallowed turf (arena).
Tour Option 2 - Rod Laver Arena
Rod Laver Arena is located at one of the world's busiest sports and entertainment precincts. Enjoy an insider's point of view as you are taken through Australian Open tournament control, the change room used by the world's best tennis players, the Walk of Fame, up to the superboxes and VIP hospitality areas, inside the media centre theatrette and, events permitting, onto the Arena (all subject to availability). Please note this option is not available between 18DEC-09FEB.
