Built in 2004, Baranduda Bowl is adjacent to the beautiful Baranduda Reserve.

The facility includes two grind rails, sub-box and bowl with shallow and deep sections.

Kiewa River


The Lower Kiewa has been identified as a region of statewide significance, due to its floral diversity. As an unmanaged river, Kiewa River Parklands provides the unique experience of a naturally meandering river and is one of the top three rivers in Victoria for recreational fishing.

If it's bird watching you are after, then the Kiewa River Parklands is the perfect place offering a number of bird hides along the Kiewa River walking track.

Pack a picnic and take a relaxing stroll among the River red gums. For the more energetic, there is a spectacular ten-kilometre loop track from the Kiewa River at Killara carpark to the Huon Hill Summit then via Watsons Lookout down to the Murray River, with some steep climbs and descents.

Alternatively, follow the Kiewa Track to the junction of the Murray and Kiewa Rivers then stroll along the Wodonga Creek arm of the Murray River for another two kilometres.

Huon Hill Parklands


Rising 263 metres above the Murray and Kiewa floodplains, Huon Hill offers spectacular views of Lake Hume, the Kiewa Valley, the Alpine Region, Murray and Kiewa Rivers, and Albury and Wodonga cities.

With ample seating, electric barbecues, shelters and composting toilets, Huon Hill is ideal for bushwalking, sightseeing, picnicking and photography. Spectacular vistas are provided by the lookouts over the Albury-Wodonga region. And there are a variety of walking tracks ranging from 200 metres to three kilometres.

Army Museum Bandiana

One of the must do's for historians and everyday people alike, the Army Museum Bandiana is one of the largest and most diversified Army Museums in Australia with 5,000 square metres of Army display under one roof.

The Museum is open on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday and a not to be missed opportunity when visiting AlburyWodonga.

Drummond Real Estate Lake Hume Cycle Challenge


A great cycle event for a truly great cause. The 2020 Drummond Real Estate Lake Hume Cycle Challenge features beautiful NE Victorian scenery around Lake Hume and post ride entertainment. Run each February by local Rotary Clubs, a great value Event with country hospitality is guaranteed. Proceeds are again going to the Albury Wodonga Regional Cancer Centre.

The Event consists four rides catering for all fitness levels and abilities from five to 126 kilometres and there is post ride entertainment. If you are a top end rider, try the iconic Granya Grind 126 kilometre.

The road rides take in spectacular undulating hills, attractive farmlands, river flats and the impressive Lake Hume. The shorter family friendly ride meander along paved bike paths incorporating natural parkland, the Murray River and picturesque creeks.

The start and finish is at the Wodonga Racecourse. From 10:00am, returning riders and supporters can rest and revive at the 'Chill Zone' and be part of the cycle community catching up with old mates and make new ones. Cool off with a chilled beer, soft drink or ice cream, satisfying stall food; and enjoy the sweet chill out sounds of local musicians.

March Longest Lunch and Race Day


Experience the Country Races in Autumn at Racing Wodonga.

Returning in 2020, Racing Wodonga will host its second annual Longest Lunch, which this year will be located on the Deck overlooking the main straight and views of Huon Hill. The event features a three course meal prepared by one of the regions premiere chefs, Sean Duggan and includes drinks and the smooth jazz sounds of The Night Owls.

The event encourages racegoers to embrace country casual; where you can enjoy backing a winner from bars and bookmakers on course. The will be plenty of outside grandstand seating for those looking to watch the races from a great undercover spot. Parking is free.

Bet 365 Caulfield Cup Day at Wodonga Race Course
