Ferguson

A two hours drive south of Perth is the town of Ferguson. Set in the beautiful Ferguson Valley, Ferguson and its surrounds are lush and green in winter and spring, dotted with farm sites and beautiful rolling hills. Although traditionally dairy country, many farmers are now diversifying into vineyards and wine-making. Visit a couple of the wineries for some wine tasting, enjoy a scenic drive or visit their beautiful gardens, set in the peaceful, rural surrounds of the Ferguson Valley. A strong sense of history lingers in Ferguson, with Saint Aiden's Church and its churchyard cemetery, which contains graves from some of the pioneers of the district.
